General information

  1. ONE person can submit only ONE abstract for poster presentation. Please note that the abstract submitted for the poster presentation may be considered for an oral presentation, depending on the available time slot.

  2. Note: This restriction does not apply to co-authorship. For example, a student may have one submission for himself/herself as a presenter and be a co-author on a few other submissions from collaborators and/or students.

  3. Submission of abstract and full paper must be completed via email by specified deadlines only.

  4. Please use ACS SG YC templates and follow our guidelines. Submissions will be rejected or returned if they do not comply with our requirements.

  5. All presenters must register and pay a deposit (SGD $30.00 per submission) by the deadline (this is to be confirmed by Dec 2025), otherwise, their abstracts will be automatically withdrawn from the program.

  6. Food and drinks are provided for registered participants.

 

Abstract Submission Guidelines
  1. Abstract must be prepared using ACS SG YC abstract template. Please do not adjust page margins or other formatting.

  2. Abstract must be written in English containing no more than 200 words.

  3. Abstract must include two to five keywords and may include one graphic.

  4. The dimension must not exceed one A4 page, and the file size must be no more than 1 MB.

  5. Name your abstract file as Lastname_Initial_Abstract.docx

  6. Abstract template can be downloaded on the website.

  7. Please submit the abstract of your presentation (not exceeding 200 words) to acssingaporesymposium@gmail.com

ACS SG YC Poster Presentation Guidelines
  1. Poster panel: vertical poster panel, 90 cm wide x 200 cm high. Recommended poster orientation, size: Portrait, A0 size, 84 cm wide x 118 cm high. Poster presentation must use provided adhesive/pin only.

  2. Ensure that your presentation covers the content outlined in the accepted abstract.

  3. Oral presentation: Adapt the length of your presentation material to match the designated time frame. Oral presentations have a total duration of 15 minutes (to be confirmed), which includes time for Q&A and speaker transition. Refer to the Final Program for specific presentation schedules, and kindly be present in the presentation room at least 15 minutes before the session begins.
